A sweet omelette is a great breakfast idea for the whole family. I usually prepare it for a lazy weekend breakfast, but each time with different toppings. By the way, I have to tell you that such an omelette made of fresh, country eggs tastes even better! I’ve switched to country eggs for a long time and I can’t imagine going back to those from the store.
What do we eat…
The omelette comes out soft, fluffy, and it cuts beautifully and looks very inviting on the plate. I suggest serving it with natural yoghurt or vanilla homogenized cheese, as well as fresh fruit, e.g. mangoes, strawberries, raspberries or peaches, and sprinkle the top with powdered sugar. You can also serve it with banana, cottage cheese, any jam or Nutella. It will taste great in any version. Be sure to try it out!
How to prepare…
Ingredients:
3 eggs (whites and yolks separated)
pinch of salt
1 flat tablespoon of sugar
1 level tablespoon plain flour
1 teaspoon butter
Additionally:
fresh fruit, e.g. mangoes, peaches, strawberries, raspberries
100 g homogenized vanilla cheese
100 g cream cheese or cottage cheese
The recipe makes one larger omelette. To prepare the omelette, you can use both eggs straight from the fridge and eggs previously pulled out on the counter (so that they take in at room temperature).
Separate the whites from the yolks very carefully. In a dry bowl, mix the egg whites with a pinch of salt at high speed. After about a minute, add the sugar (1 level tablespoon) and continue to mix for about 2 minutes on high speed. When the egg whites are stiff, then add the yolks and mix for several seconds at low speed of the mixer. Add sifted wheat flour (1 level tablespoon). Mix with a whisk until the ingredients combine. Pour the egg mixture into a hot, larger pan (with a non-stick surface) with a little butter (1 teaspoon). Fry on both sides for (about 5 minutes in total) over a very low heat. Put the warm omelette on a plate. Serve with your favorite toppings.
I suggest serving it with vanilla homogenized cheese mixed with fluffy cream cottage cheese (Almette type), as well as fresh fruit, e.g. mango, strawberries, raspberries or peaches.
