My latest banana brownie consists of only four ingredients. It does not contain eggs, flour, sugar or fat (butter/oil). It is very tasty and easy to prepare. Just right as something sweet with coffee. It is definitely a healthier alternative to baking!
What do we eat…
If you feel like it, you can additionally enrich this brownie with a few fresh strawberries (or raspberries, blueberries) or a small handful of chopped dark chocolate.
This brownie made of bananas and peanut butter is baked in a small baking tray or loaf pan. I warn you right away that it does not come out too high. It is a small pastry that you can cut into 8-10 pieces and eat with your household without much remorse.
How to prepare…
Ingredients:
Cake:
4 medium-sized bananas
150 g peanut butter, e.g. crunchy
50 g cocoa powder (extra dark in my case)
3/4 level teaspoon baking powder
Optional:
3-4 strawberries
30 g dark chocolate or chocolate peas
Banana brownies are prepared quite quickly, so you can immediately preheat the oven to 180 degrees (top and bottom heating, no hot air). Blend four ripe bananas with a hand blender. Add cocoa (50 g), peanut butter (150 g) and baking powder (3/4 a flat teaspoon). Blend only until the ingredients combine. Pour the dough into a small baking tray lined with baking paper – my 10 x 20 cm baking tray.
You can put them in the oven or, like me, add some chopped dark chocolate (or chocolate peas) and a few slices of fresh strawberries or raspberries on top. Bake for about 30 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees (top and bottom heating, no hot air, on the middle shelf). Enjoy your meal!
